And then it happened, everyone was anxiously waiting for the results of the presidential election, and now that the election is behind us, the Democrats are wondering, what happened, they got their asses kicked in the worst way. That’s what happened.
In any race, whether in sport’s games or race for a political position someone wins and someone loses. It’s easy to blame or criticize the loser and come up with a million reason why he/she/they lost.
The loss of the election was devastating for the Democrats after they expected to win The White House, The Senate, and The House of Representatives. They expected to win all three, instead, they lost all three.
The problem for the Democrats started four years ago at the beginning of the primary election. Bernie Sanders, who’s an Independent running as a Democrats, won the first four primaries and was on his way to sweep the primaries and get nominated for the main election. The Democratic Party, otherwise known as “the establishment”, secretly withdrew their support of Bernie Sanders and backed Joe Biden, who’s a lifelong Democrat. Biden won the primaries in South Carolina with the help of the native congressman, Jim Clyburn and the establishment of the Democratic Party. Biden went on to win more states and ultimately the nomination for presidential election.
Because people in 2020 were tired of Donald Trump and his stupid and corrupt policy, and with the help of some big shots Democrats, Joe Biden won the election and became the 46th President of the United States.
As a president, Joe Biden is mediocre at best. Though he initiated some good programs which benefited a large number of people, he made some colossal mistakes which cost him and his party the 2024 election, and against whom?? The most arrogant, conceded, liar, stupid ………etc., man in the world, Donald Trump. The mistakes Biden made were plenty but here’s a few:
- Hiring Merrick Garland as an Attorney General. This man was so incompetent that for the first 2 years he sat on his hands and refused to assign a prosecutor to charge Donald Trump for the crimes he intentionally committed while he was a President. After 2 years, he finally assigned Jack Smith as a special prosecutor. Two years seem to be enough time, but not in the court system. Trump employed the tactic of delaying, and now with all the charges that are hanging over his head, he was handed a “get out of jail free card”. All these charges are going to be dropped because a president cannot be prosecuted. Also, as a head of the Justice Department, Garland should’ve objected and blocked the nomination of Donald Trump, especially when the latter tried to illegally turn over the election that he lost, especially with all the illegal maneuvers that he used like the fake electors and pressuring secretaries of states to “find him extra votes” Maybe the law still allows him to run but Garland should’ve tried to stop him. I think the law would’ve been be on his side. In the meantime, Joe Biden said and did nothing.
- Hiring Anthony Blinken for the Secretary of State position. Blinken is one of the most corrupt, biased personalities in the Biden administration.
- The Afghanistan Debacle. While getting out of Afghanistan was the right thing to do, Anthony Blinken and his gang screwed the process to the max. Instead of evacuating the personnel and equipment first, they evacuated the soldiers first and left everyone and everything behind. The people, especially the Afghanis who helped the American soldiers, had no protection against the Taliban and the latter received billions of dollars’ worth of equipment.
- The biggest mistake that Biden committed is giving, for free, a plane load after plane load of bombs to Israel which they used to kill 10’s of 1000’s of innocent people in GAZA. The 2,000 lb bombs are designed to destroy large buildings and kill many people at the same time. 85-95% of the buildings in GAZA were reduced to rubbles. Virtually everyone in GAZA were left without shelter, food, medicine, water, fuel and many of life’s necessities. Biden just wanted to please his masters in Israel, and he did. While his action seems to be pleasing to the Republicans and some of the Democrats, the people in this, and other countries, were outraged and did not forget that comes election time.
After this resounding defeat, the Democrats said, they need to do some “soul searching”, in other words, figure out why they lost so badly in spite of an almost flawless campaign that Kamala Harris ran. Some of the reason they came up with were:
- Kamala Harris was virtually unknown to most people and she did not have enough time to campaign. The truth is, she was the Vice President for 4 years and she went all over the country campaigning, drawing huge crowds. She was known to everyone by the end of the campaign.
- Joe Biden should’ve stepped aside earlier and should’ve opened the door for nomination when he did. Joe Biden should not have attempted to run for second term in the first place. He was very old and incoherent and it shows. It’s true that he should’ve open the door for nomination instead of indorsing Kamala Harris right of the bat.
- Although Kamala Harris did an excellent job campaigning tirelessly, she, in my opinion, committed a few mistakes of her own:
- She did not defend and mention the good programs that were implemented during the past 4 years and the millions of jobs that were created.
- She did not separate her vision and policy from that of Joe Biden who is getting increasingly unpopular.
- She did not remind people of all the snafus that Donald Trump committed during his presidency, like his inaction during the pandemic and remind people of the chaos in his foreign policy. People have a short memory and tend to forgive and forget so fast. They need to be reminded constantly.
- A would have been smart action on her part was to compare similar situations during Trump and Biden’s presidency and the actions they took. For example, the low unemployment and inflation during Biden and Obama’s administrations and the high unemployment and inflation during Trump administration.
One thing to remember, more than half of the votes that Trump received were votes against Kamala Harris because of her association with Joe Biden. I believe that Kamala Harris would still have won the election, despite of all the mistakes that she has made, if it hadn’t been for that baggage dragging her down. It’s called, Joe Biden. I mean, really, how bad do you have to be to loose the election to someone like Donald Trump with all his negativities.
